What is an ETA?

An ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) is a simpler, faster alternative designed for travellers from visa-exempt countries. You apply online in minutes, pay a fee, and in most cases receive approval within hours. There is no embassy visit, no supporting documents, and no interview.
Countries including Canada, the UK, USA and soon the European Union all require ETAs or similar travel authorisations for certain visitors.
If your country has a visa-free agreement with your destination, you'll likely need an ETA rather than a visa
If no such agreement exists, you'll need a full visa
